• This product is very new and doesn’t have the stamp of approval from the Veterinary Oral Health Council’s list of recommended dog dental care products at this time.
• Didn’t whiten my dog’s teeth much in 30 days. (After 60 days I saw great improvement though!)
• Dogs can make a mess while eating it so give it to them in the kitchen for easy cleaning.
• This formula isn’t recommended for puppies under 6 months of age and there is no puppy-specific option.

My Bark Bright personal experience: does Bark Bright it work?

Yes! My personal experience with Bark Bright is I absolutely love this product and have had great success using it with my dog.

I would even say these dental sticks helped strengthen my bond with my dog as now I can give him affection without being grossed out by bad dog breath, and he doesn’t have to be wrangled by me with a toothbrush anymore either.

Marty (my golden retriever) loves being groomed at home and always has, but the one thing he has always hated with having his teeth brushed. I tried my best to help socialize him as a puppy to the feeling and flavor, but he only tolerated it because he knew I was going to give him some yummy treats afterward.

I was looking for an affordable, convenient way to keep my dog’s teeth clean and Bark Bright has definitely delivered. Marty (my golden retriever) gets so excited every night when he knows it is just about time for his Bark Bright stick.

Over the course of the first 30 days, I noticed his breath didn’t smell anymore and his teeth looked cleaner. I wasn’t brushing his teeth regularly due to his aversion to the toothbrush and his dislike for the flavor of dog toothpaste.

Mostly, I tried other dog dental treats and used those to help with his bad breath. Then when I noticed his breath was getting worse I’d quickly squirt a little bit of toothpaste in his mouth and let him lick it up to coat his teeth. But none of it really worked as I wanted it to, as he still had bad breath often.

Now, he gets his teeth cleaned daily, and he loves both the sticks and the flavor of the toothpaste. What an easy win for both of us! I have not had a single instance where Marty hasn’t jumped up to take his dental treatment and devoured it immediately. So I’d say he gives it two thumbs up!

I will say that I didn’t see a huge difference in the whitening of my dog’s teeth with Bark Bright in the first 30 days of use. I do see improvement in the whiteness now after consistent use for over 2 months. Before and after pictures will be posted soon!

Also, my dog did drop bits of toothpaste on the carpet while eating the toothpaste-lined sticks. So make sure you give it to them in a place that can tear the sticks apart without staining something. (My bad!)
